Charlbury Wednesday Week 1 New Season!

The first week of the Charlbury Wednesday Netball league launched with a bang. The night was great, with teams Netchicks, Shoot for the Stars, Sky Shooters, Wildcats, and Pocket Rockets showcasing their skills on the court.

The night started off great however sadly a player from Charlbury Shooters sustained an injury to their ankle. We are all wishing for a speedy recovery.

The Netchicks set the court on fire with their 8-2 victory over the Flaming Divas. The Shoot for the Stars, meanwhile, outshone Charlbury Shooters with a 10-3 victory. The Sky Shooters also had a good night, claiming an 8-2 triumph over Ball Saints.

However, it was the Wildcats that stole the show with a dazzling performance that led them to a resounding 15-2 victory over Pocket Rockets. Wildcats' offensive strategy was star player Alison Crook, who delivered an outstanding performance, earning her the accolade of the division's most valued player for the week.

The Charlbury Wednesday's Netball league's season has just started, and it's already brimming with excitement. Judging by the first week's games, the upcoming matches promise to be irresistible for all Netball enthusiasts.

It's all still to play for in the coming weeks.
