Last night, a joyous wave of camaraderie descended upon the Charlbury Community Centre as Week 11 of the social netball season unfolded. A welcoming atmosphere enveloped the venue, with players of varying experience levels coming together to relish in an action-packed evening of netball, brimming with infectious enthusiasm and a shared love for the sport.

In the first match of the evening, Ramsden Rockers and Charlbury Shooters played a passionate game. The commitment of both teams was evident, with Ramsden Rockers ending the friendly encounter with a score of 14-9. Despite the difference in score, the Shooters played with ceaseless enthusiasm, reflecting the true spirit of social netball.

Next up we saw Attackley and Pocket Rockets take to the court. The game was played in high spirits, with both teams demonstrating exceptional teamwork and commitment. Pocket Rockets managed to finish the game with a score of 14-9, an outcome that reflected their positive energy throughout the game.

The evening wrapped with a friendly match between Sky Shooters and Ball Saints. Both teams displayed outstanding sportsmanship and high energy, culminating in a close finish with Ball Saints ending the game with a slim lead at 12-11.

A standout performance came from Fiona Dangerfield of Charlbury Shooters, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm and effective movement around the court were admired by teammates and opponents alike, and her positive contribution to the game didn't go unnoticed.
