There was a delightful buzz in the air on Week 9 at Charlbury Community Centre as our social netballers came together for another enjoyable evening. The welcoming atmosphere and hearty camaraderie were palpable, capturing the true spirit of our weekly social netball evenings. The blend of experienced players and netball newcomers sharing the courts made the night all the more thrilling.

The Ramsden Rockers and Pocket Rockets match was a perfect portrayal of teamwork and sportsmanship, culminating in a perfectly balanced score of 7-7. Both teams displayed unwavering commitment, and the positive energy on the court was infectious. The crowd savored every moment of this fun and evenly matched game.

In the match between Ball Saints and Charlbury Shooters, the latter ended the game with a high score of 16-5. The Ball Saints exhibited great determination, and the Shooters were a picture of unity and coordination throughout. The whole game was played in great spirit and reflected the positive vibes of social netball.

Sky Shooters and Netchicks had a lively game with Sky Shooters finishing the game with a score of 27-4. Despite the score difference, the Netchicks showed admirable persistence and kept the game spirited till the last whistle. It was a game of learning, growing, and appreciating the essence of friendly competition.

In a special mention, the Most Valued Player of the week honour was accorded to Karen Ward from Attackley. Karen's enthusiasm and tireless movement around the court were a sight to behold. Her positive contribution to the game was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike, making her a deserving winner of this accolade.

As we look forward to Week 10 at Charlbury, we are excited to continue this journey of friendly social netball. It's about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. Here's to another great night of netball next week.
