Play in the Charlbury Wednesday Social Netball League

In the welcoming atmosphere of Charlbury Community Centre, Week 7 of the social netball season unfolded with a delightful mix of camaraderie and friendly competition. Regardless of experience, players from all walks of life flocked to enjoy an evening filled with enthusiasm, teamwork and, most importantly, a shared love for the game.

The first match of the evening saw Ball Saints face Pocket Rockets on the court. Pocket Rockets finished the game with a score of 20-1. Despite the score line, it was the spirit in which the game was played that stood out. Throughout the match, sportsmanship and teamwork were the real winners.

Next up we saw Attackley and Ramsden Rockers take to the court. With a final score of 12-4 in favour of Ramsden Rockers, it was a testament to the spirit of participation and sportsmanship that both teams displayed. All players showed commitment and positive energy, making it a truly enjoyable game.

Charlbury Shooters and Netchicks battled it out in the final match of the evening, with Charlbury Shooters securing a 16-3 victory. Both teams showcased a great deal of positive energy and camaraderie that resonated with everyone present.

The Most Valued Player of the week, Abby Douglas from Ball Saints, deserves a special mention. Abby's enthusiasm and movement around the court were nothing short of inspirational. Her positive contributions were well-appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look ahead to Week 8, we anticipate another evening of friendly social netball. Let's continue to celebrate keeping active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.
