Play in the Charlbury Wednesday Social Netball League

The fifth week of our social netball season brought an exhilarating evening for all involved at the Charlbury Community Centre. With the welcoming atmosphere reverberating through the centre, players of varied experience levels gathered together for a fantastic night of friendly competition, team spirit, and most importantly, fun.

The first match of the evening saw Netchicks face off against Pocket Rockets. The game concluded with Pocket Rockets moving ahead 19-3. However, the scoreboard did not reflect the passion, effort and enjoyment that Netchicks brought to the court, proving that netball is not just about winning, it's about enjoying the game.

Next, Ball Saints and Ramsden Rockers took to the court. The game ended with Ramsden Rockers securing a 11-7 win. Despite the score difference, the spirits remained high as both teams showcased a tremendous amount of positive energy and camaraderie.

Next on the fixture list, the ambitious Attackley team locked horns with Sky Shooters. The final whistle saw Attackley emerge triumphant, finishing with a respectable 15-7 score. Both teams exhibited an incredible sense of teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship, making it an enjoyable game played in great spirit.

As we look forward to Week 6, we're thrilled to continue building a positive, inclusive community through our social netball evenings. Regardless of whether you're a seasoned player or picking up a netball for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to stay active, meet new people and develop your skills in a supportive environment. We can't wait to see you all again next week for another fantastic evening of friendly competition and fun-filled netball.
