Play in the Charlbury Wednesday Social Netball League

On a typically lively Wednesday evening, Week 4 of the social netball season unfolded at the Charlbury Community Centre. The night was filled with camaraderie, enthusiastic play, and an abundance of team spirit. Players of various experience levels joined together, creating a welcoming atmosphere and showcasing the inclusive nature of netball.

The first match saw the Pocket Rockets go head-to-head against the Ramsden Rockers. The game ended with Pocket Rockets scoring an impressive 15 points to Ramsden Rockers' 12. The game was a delightful exhibition of teamwork and sportsmanship, with both teams showcasing their commitment and positive energy.

Next up were the Netchicks and Sky Shooters. The Sky Shooters finished the game with an impressive score of 21-3, but the numbers don't tell the whole story. The Netchicks' perseverance was admirable, and their spirit remained high throughout the game, reflecting the true essence of social sport.

The evening continued with the Charlbury Shooters and Ball Saints match. With Charlbury Shooters securing a score of 17-2, the game was indeed an exciting one. Both teams played with heart and enthusiasm, and their mutual respect and enjoyment were palpable.

A special shoutout goes to Paula Green from Ball Saints who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Her energy around the court was unmissable, and her positive contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Paula's enthusiastic approach to the game truly encapsulated the spirit of the evening.
