Charlbury Wednesday Social Netball

In an electrifying week of action in the Charlbury Wednesday Netball League, the evening was bursting with dynamic performances and nail-biting finishes.

The Sky Shooters and Footwork clashed head-on in an exhilarating game, both teams showing incredible skill and ending in a 6-6 draw. Displaying their grit and determination, both teams refused to grant the other an easy victory, making it a night to remember.

In another fierce matchup, Team TackWoo faced the Pocket Rockets. Despite a valiant effort, TackWoo fell short, succumbing to 11-2 scoreline.

However, the match of the week had to be Charlbury Shooters against the Netchicks. Both teams brought their A-game, but the Shooters ultimately prevailed in a hard-fought contest, triumphing 9-7. Their victory highlighted the team's offensive strength and the strategic depth they possess.

The standout player of the week was Lucia Edwards from Ball Saints. Edwards demonstrated immense expertise, versatility, and leadership, contributing significantly to her team's performance. Her stellar performance didn't go unnoticed, earning her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player for the week.
