Week two of the Charlbury Wednesday Netball brought another evening of competitive matches, with teams taking to the court.
Attackley produced a strong performance in their match against Netchicks, securing a 22–7 win. Consistent teamwork and good movement through the court helped them build a steady lead and see the game through comfortably.
Pocket Rockets also had a successful outing, defeating the Charlbury Shooters 22–10. Solid defensive play combined with effective attacking helped them maintain control for much of the match.
Sky Shooters claimed a 16–6 victory over Ramsden Rockers. Sky Shooters were able to convert their chances well, while the Rockers continued to work hard throughout the match.
This week’s Most Valued Player award went to Stacey Deller of Netchicks. Despite the result, her individual performance stood out, showing great determination and skill on court.
With two weeks completed, the Charlbury Wednesday Netball is already shaping up to be an enjoyable and competitive season. Teams will now be looking ahead to the next round of matches as the season continues to take shape.
