Charlbury Wednesday Netball Update 25th March

It was another enjoyable evening in the Charlbury Wednesday Netball, as teams took to the court for week five of the season. With a friendly but competitive atmosphere, players and spectators were treated to a series of well-fought matches.

Pocket Rockets delivered a strong performance against Ramsden Rockers, coming away with a 22–5 win. Their organised attacking play and solid defence helped them maintain control throughout the game.

Sky Shooters and Netchicks played out a closely contested match, with Sky Shooters narrowly securing an 8–6 victory. Both teams showed great effort, with the result reflecting just how evenly matched they were.

Charlbury Shooters also enjoyed success, overcoming Ball Saints 9–6 in a competitive fixture. Consistent play and good teamwork helped them edge ahead and take the win.

A standout individual performance came from Stacey Deller of Netchicks, who made a strong impact on court. Her energy and determination earned her Player of the Week recognition, despite her team’s narrow loss.

As the season approaches its midpoint, the night continues to offer enjoyable and competitive netball. Teams will be looking to build on their performances as the weeks progress.
