Charlbury Wednesday Netball Update 25th February

As the winter chill begins to ease, Charlbury Wednesday Netball returns with a fresh wave of energy. The opening week of the season delivered several engaging matchups, setting the stage for what looks to be an enjoyable and competitive few months ahead.

The first game saw Attackley secure a narrow 10–8 win over Sky Shooters. It was a closely contested match that highlighted how important every goal can be. 

Ball Saints also made a strong start, overcoming Ramsden Rockers with an 11–7 victory. Their teamwork and steady play were key factors in securing the win and will no doubt give them confidence going forward.

Pocket Rockets delivered a particularly impressive performance against Netchicks, recording a 17–3 win. Their composed attacking play and solid defence made them one of the standout teams of the opening week.

As the season continues, teams will be looking to build on their early performances and develop their rhythm. With a positive start and great sportsmanship already on display, Charlbury Wednesday Netball looks set for a rewarding and enjoyable season ahead.
