Charlbury Wednesday Netball Update 22nd April

Another Enjoyable Evening in the Charlbury Wednesday Netball

Week eight of the Charlbury Wednesday Netball brought another lively evening of netball, with teams delivering great performances and plenty of positive moments on court.

Attackley put in a strong and well-organised display against Netchicks, securing a 23–5 win. Their teamwork, movement, and shooting accuracy were evident throughout, with Harriet Preedy playing a key role. Her all-round performance earned her a well-deserved Most Valued Player award for the week.

Pocket Rockets also had a successful match, taking a 20–7 win over Charlbury Shooters. Their quick passing and consistent scoring helped them maintain control, while the Shooters continued to show determination and effort across the game.

Ramsden Rockers and Sky Shooters shared a closely contested match, with Sky Shooters just edging ahead 13–11. Both teams battled well throughout, making it an enjoyable and competitive game to watch.

Harriet Preedy’s performance for Attackley was a real highlight, and she’ll certainly be one to watch as the season continues. With the top scorers shaping up nicely, there’s a great sense of momentum building as the league moves into the second half of the season.

With more matches still to come, the Charlbury Wednesday Netball continues to be a great showcase of teamwork, progress, and enjoyment of the game each week.
