Week 12 of the Charlbury Wednesday Netball brought another exciting evening of competitive action, with teams continuing to showcase great teamwork, determination, and skill as the season heads towards its final stages.
Attackley delivered a strong performance against Ball Saints, securing a 20–6 victory to strengthen their position in the standings. Ball Saints continued to battle hard throughout the match and will no doubt look to take positives into the remaining fixtures.
One of the closest contests of the night saw Charlbury Shooters take on Sky Shooters in a fast-paced and entertaining game. Both teams played some excellent netball, with the lead changing hands several times before Charlbury Shooters narrowly claimed an 18–16 win in an exciting finish.
Elsewhere, Ramsden Rockers earned a solid 14–7 victory over Netchicks in another competitive fixture, with both sides showing plenty of effort and commitment across the court.
A special mention goes to Samantha Cassels of Sky Shooters, who earned this week’s Most Valued Player award after an outstanding individual performance. Her energy, skill, and consistency throughout the game made a huge impact and helped keep her team right in contention until the final whistle.
With just two weeks remaining in the season, the night is shaping up for a thrilling finish. Every team continues to show great spirit and determination, and there is still plenty to play for as the race for the top spots continues.
The excitement continues to build as the Charlbury Wednesday Netball approaches its finale, and players and supporters alike will be looking forward to another fantastic round of matches next week.
