In another enjoyable round of the Charlbury Wednesday Netball, teams delivered some strong and competitive performances. It was an evening of well-fought matches, with teams showing plenty of effort and teamwork across the court.
Attackley put in a confident performance, securing a 22–9 win over Charlbury Shooters. The Shooters showed great determination throughout, but Attackley’s consistent attacking play helped them maintain control of the game.
Ball Saints also had a solid outing, earning a 13–3 victory against Netchicks. Their organised approach and steady defence made it difficult for Netchicks to find momentum.
The closest game of the evening came between Sky Shooters and Pocket Rockets. In a tightly contested match, Pocket Rockets came away with a 13–8 win, with both teams battling hard from start to finish.
A standout individual this week was Charlotte Glenn from Sky Shooters, who was named Most Valued Player. Her strong performance and contribution on court played an important role for her team.
As the season continues, there is still plenty to play for, with each match offering opportunities for teams to improve their standings. With more games ahead, teams will be looking to build on their performances and keep progressing.
It will be interesting to see how things develop in the coming weeks, as players continue to give their best and enjoy the competition.
