In a thrilling final week of the Charlbury Wednesday Netball, the intensity was palpable as the teams battled it out. Week 14 marked the end of the season and the teams gave it their all, resulting in a flurry of high-scoring games and fervent competition.
In what could only be described as a nail-biting night of netball, Netchicks faced off against the formidable Charlbury Shooters. Despite a valiant effort from Netchicks, the Shooters proved too strong, securing a 15-8 victory. The Shooters' stunning performance highlighted their strategic prowess and exceptional teamwork throughout the season.
Similarly, the Pocket Rockets demonstrated why they are top contenders with a 18-5 win over Ball Saints. Displaying a masterclass of strategic play and precision shooting, the Pocket Rockets dominated the court and ultimately secured their place as the winners of the season. They ended the season on a high note, with a total of 27 points and 13 wins.
In another closely contested match, the Ramsden Rockers were narrowly defeated by the Sky Shooters 10-8. The Rockers, although coming up short, showed sheer determination and resilience, demonstrating the competitive spirit that has defined this season.
The final week of the Charlbury Wednesday Netball certainly lived up to expectations, featuring some of the most exciting netball of the season.
