Charlbury Wednesday Netball League - Week 3

Last Wednesday, the Charlbury Community Centre was filled with a contagious and welcoming atmosphere for Week 3 of the social netball season. Players of all experience levels — from beginners to veterans — gathered for a fantastic night of camaraderie, fun, and healthy competition.

The evening kicked off with an energetic game between Attackley and Charlbury Shooters. Both teams displayed commendable teamwork and commitment, resulting in a final score of 22-6 in favour of Attackley. The friendly competition and positive energy on the court was evident to everyone present.

Up next was an equally thrilling match between Ball Saints and Netchicks. Ball Saints ended the game with a score of 11-3, showing their resilience and sportsmanship. Netchicks, undeterred by the scoreline, kept their spirits high, exhibiting true love for the sport.

Sky Shooters and Pocket Rockets put up a vibrant display of netball. The game ended with Sky Shooters recording a score of 20-14. The match was played in high spirits, with both teams demonstrating their dedication and collective effort.

A special shout out goes to Stacey Deller of the Netchicks, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Stacey's involvement, movement around the court, and positive contribution were appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike. Her enthusiasm lit up the court and truly embodies the spirit of social netball.

As we look forward to Week 4, we anticipate another fun and friendly evening of social netball at Charlbury Community Centre.
