Charlbury Wednesday Netball League 22nd January

The electrifying Charlbury Wednesday Night Netball league entered its second week with teams battling it out fiercely in the division. A series of thrilling encounters brought about some surprising results and unprecedented performances.

In a high-octane match, Team TackWoo struggled against the dominant Ball Saints, who emerged victorious with a 11-1 win. This eye-opening result will undoubtedly set tongues wagging about the Ball Saints' potential for the rest of the season.

The Sky Shooters also made their presence felt, by outpacing the Charlbury Shooters in a thrilling 11-5 victory. The match was a clear demonstration of the Sky Shooters' tactical prowess and commendable teamwork, setting them up as formidable contenders in the weeks to come.

Meanwhile, the match between Shoot For The Stars and Netchicks kept everyone on the edge of their seats. After a hard-fought battle, Shoot For The Stars narrowly edged out their opponents, winning 7-5.

However, the star of the week was undoubtedly Fiona Barron from Sky Shooters. Displaying exceptional skill and strategic play, Barron was instrumental in her team's victory, earning her the well-deserved title of the most valued player of the week.

It's safe to say that the second week of the Charlbury Wednesday Netball League has set the bar high for the upcoming matches. With the teams showcasing their ability to dig deep and deliver under pressure, the division is shaping up to be one of the most competitive yet.
