It was another wonderful night of camaraderie and sportsmanship at Cannock Chase High School, as spirited players gathered for Week 6 of our enjoyable social netball season. The welcoming atmosphere buzzed with excitement as players of all experience levels prepared for another fantastic evening of netball.
The first thrilling match of the night saw Ace Of Chase taking on Cannock Chaos. Proving once again that social netball is all about teamwork and commitment, both teams put forth a remarkable display of positive energy. Ace Of Chase finished the game ahead with a score of 12-8, but it doesn't take away from the fact that it was an enjoyable game played in great spirit by Cannock Chaos.
In the second match, netball enthusiasts witnessed the Chase Chicks showcasing their skills against the Cannock Forests. In a game filled with fun and respect for the sport, Chase Chicks ended the game with an impressive score of 24-10. But the score aside, what truly captured the essence of the evening was the spirit of the Cannock Forests, who despite the outcome, played with an unwavering enthusiasm that was truly commendable.
A special mention for this week goes to Lucy Jenks from Chase Chicks, our Most Valued Player. Lucy's energetic movement around the court, coupled with her infectious enthusiasm, was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution truly embodied the spirit of our social netball nights.
As we look ahead to Week 7, we can’t help but feel excited for another evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about keeping active and developing our netball skills, but it's also about meeting new friends and learning from each other in a supportive and fun environment. So, as we all gear up for the next week, we carry forward the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and most importantly, the love for netball.
