Play in the Cannock Sunday You Play Netball league

The fifth week of our social netball season was a resounding success, with a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere at Cannock Chase High School. From newbies to seasoned players, everyone enjoyed an evening filled with camaraderie, netball, and plenty of fun.

First up was the match between Cannock Chasers and Cannock Chaos. Both teams brought their best game forward, demonstrating remarkable teamwork and commitment. Cannock Chaos finished the game with a grand score of 30-6. Their positive energy was infectious, making the game not only enjoyable but also a learning experience for everyone watching.

The second match saw the Cannock Comets and Pocket Rockets face off in a fun-filled game. The Pocket Rockets concluded the game with a score of 24-12, showcasing impressive sportsmanship and a spirit of play that embodies the heart of our social netball evenings.

Chase Chicks and Ace Of Chase took to the court for the third match of the evening. Both teams played with high spirits and evident enjoyment, resulting in a score of 23-17 in favor of Chase Chicks. The game was indeed a testament to the shared passion and positive spirit prevalent in our club.

The standout player of the week was Michelle Davis from Cannock Chaos. Her vivacious enthusiasm, excellent movement around the court, and general positivity were noted by all. Both teammates and opponents alike appreciated her contributions, making her a fitting recipient of the Most Valued Player accolade.

As we look forward to Week 6, we're excited about another evening of friendly social netball. We welcome all to join in, whether to keep active, meet new people, or develop netball skills in an inclusive and supportive environment.
