Play in the Cannock Sunday You Play Netball league

It was another joyful evening of social netball at Cannock Chase High School last Sunday, marking Week 3 of our beloved season. Players of all skill levels gathered under the warm glow of the sports hall lights, the atmosphere buzzing with anticipation, camaraderie and the shared love for the game. The spirit of friendly competition prevailed as everyone came together for a night of netball we will all remember.

The first game saw Cannock Forests and Cannock Chaos sharing the court. The Forests wrapped up the game with a satisfying score of 22-12. It was a game where teamwork was on full display. The Forests and Chaos showed their commitment and sportsmanship, their positive energy infectious and inspiring. It was an enjoyable game, played in the best of spirits, that showcased the essence of social netball.

The second game was equally thrilling where Chase Chicks took on the Pocket Rockets. The Rockets hit the ground running and brought the game to a close at 20-14. Both teams demonstrated impressive levels of energy, with a clear display of mutual respect. Their positive attitudes and friendly competitiveness made for an enjoyable match, reinforcing the core values of our netball community.

A special mention goes to our Most Valued Player of the evening, Sarah Collier, from Ace Of Chase. Sarah’s enthusiasm was unmatched as she moved effortlessly around the court. Her valuable contributions were appreciated by all, her teammates and opponents alike, and she truly embodied the spirit of the game.

As we look forward to Week 4, we're eagerly anticipating another enjoyable evening of social netball. This is more than just a game; it's about keeping active, making new friends and developing our netball skills in a supportive environment. So, let's continue to celebrate our love for netball, encourage each other and cherish these unforgettable moments on the court.
