Play in the Cannock Sunday You Play Netball league

On a crisp, clear evening, the netball community gathered at Cannock Chase High School. Week 13 of the social netball season, the court was filled with laughter, cheers, and an unmistakable camaraderie. The atmosphere was welcoming, and players of all levels were seen enjoying this great night of netball.

The first game of the evening was a friendly and energetic match between Cannock Chaos and Ace Of Chase. The final whistle saw Ace of Chase end the game on a high note, tallying a score of 19-14. Both teams exhibited admirable teamwork and commitment, displaying excellent sportsmanship and positivity. The game was played in an uplifting spirit, reflecting the essence of social netball.

Following the first game, Cannock Chasers and Pocket Rockets took to the court for an enthusiastic match-up. The game concluded with Pocket Rockets securing a score of 30 to Cannock Chasers' 9. Despite the numerical gap, both teams showcased a brilliant display of sportsmanship, high energy, and teamwork that was a joy to witness.

In the final game of the evening, Cannock Forests and Chase Chicks proved to be an equally matched pair. The close contest ended with Chase Chicks narrowly outscoring Cannock Forests, 18-17. Both teams displayed their commitment and positive energy, making it an enjoyable game enjoyed by all.

This week's Most Valued Player was Olivia Jade Johnson from Cannock Comets. Olivia's enthusiasm and movement around the court were remarkable. Her positive contribution to the game was not only appreciated by her teammates but also commended by opponents. Olivia truly embodied the 'Back to Netball' spirit.

As we look forward to Week 14 and another evening of social netball, we are excited to see players continue to keep active, meet new people, and develop their netball skills in a supportive environment. The focus, as always, will be on the fun of the game, the spirit of fair play, and the joy of being part of our incredible netball community.
