Cannock Sunday Netball - Week 2 of the season
The League saw Cannock Comets streak across the court, leaving an impressive 26-14 victory trail against Ace Of Chase. The Comets' star player, Olivia Johnson, was a force to be reckoned with, showing remarkable agility and precision. Johnson was rightfully crowned the most valued player of the week, her efforts profoundly contributing to the Comets' triumph.
Elsewhere in the League, Chase Chicks kept their opponents Go Net It at bay with a commanding 23-11 win. Cannock Chaos, however, couldn't fend off Dream Team, who stormed to a 22-12 victory, demonstrating their strong team spirit and strategic gameplay. The Cheeky Chasers also had their time in the spotlight, clinching a 20-10 victory over Pocket Rockets.
Despite the relentless competition, each team exhibited great sportsmanship, making this week's league matches a testament to the spirit of netball. The exhilarating performances have undoubtedly set the tone for the remaining weeks of the season.
