The eighth week of friendly social netball unfolded under the bright lights of Campion School, bringing an air of excitement and camaraderie among the players. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, brimming with a mix of seasoned players and newcomers, all of whom basked in the joy of the game. This evening was yet another testament to the welcoming and inclusive spirit of netball played at its best.

In the Premier League group's opening game, Net Pressure and Nets Go Girl came head-to-head. The match ended with Net Pressure coming out ahead, finishing with a 16-1 score. The game was characterized by hard work, dedication, and a great display of teamwork. Similarly, Pitch Perfect and Wingin It played a spirited match, which saw Pitch Perfect ending the game with a score of 21-8. Both teams showed exceptional sportsmanship, making it a truly enjoyable game. Finally, Goal Diggas and Pass N Pivot faced off in a lively match full of positive energy. Goal Diggas finished the game with a score of 11-5. Despite the outcome, Pass N Pivot demonstrated a deep commitment to the game that was truly commendable.

The evening was also notable for the special recognition of Most Valued Player, Nicola Lewis, from Pass N Pivot. Nicola was a dynamo on the court, her enthusiastic movements and smart plays did not go unnoticed by her teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution to the game was greatly appreciated, adding to the overall spirit of the evening.

As we look forward to Week 9, we anticipate yet another evening of friendly social netball. It's not just about the game, it's about keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive environment.
