Royal Leamington Spa Thursday You Play Netball League

Week 4 of the Royal Leamington Spa Thursday social netball season took place at Campion School, with teams back on court for another evening of netball. The league brings together players with different levels of experience, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy regular games, keep active and continue developing their skills in a friendly and social environment.

The first match of the evening saw Pitch Perfect take on Pass N Pivot. Pitch Perfect finished with a 28-5 win after a strong performance. They worked well together across the court and took their opportunities in front of goal. Pass N Pivot continued to work hard throughout the game and kept going right through to the final whistle, making it an enjoyable match for both teams.

Next up were Pivot Panthers and Wingin It. Pivot Panthers finished with a 29-6 win after another strong performance. The Panthers made a good start and continued to build their score throughout the match. Wingin It continued to compete and showed plenty of effort across the court, with both teams playing the game in a friendly spirit.

Although there were some clear scorelines during the evening, the games continued to provide players with valuable court time and the chance to work on different areas of their game. The social nature of the league means players can enjoy competitive games while also meeting other players and being part of a regular netball community.

This week's Most Valued Player was Gina Dover from Goal Diggas. Gina put in a strong performance and showed plenty of energy and movement around the court. Her contribution to the game was recognised by those around her, making her a deserved choice for this week's MVP.

As we look ahead to Week 5, there is plenty more netball to come at Campion School. Each week gives teams another chance to work on their passing, movement, shooting and teamwork while enjoying a regular evening of sport.

The Royal Leamington Spa Thursday league is all about getting people involved in netball in a friendly and welcoming environment. Whether players have been playing for years or are returning to the sport after a break, everyone has the opportunity to get on court, enjoy the games and improve their skills.
