Play in the Burntwood Sunday you play netball league

The Burntwood Leisure Centre was buzzing as the first evening of social netball kicked off the new season. With the scent of freshly-popped popcorn wafting through the cool night air, both new and experienced players gathered for a night of sporting camaraderie. It was heartening to see individuals of all skill levels come together, united in their love for the game and the shared spirit of friendly competition.

The Nets Go and Flaming Divas match was a joy to watch. With a final score of Nets Go 32-3 Flaming Divas, it was clear that all the players had put their best foot forward. The game showcased remarkable commitment and teamwork from both teams.

Another energetic match was that of Shoot For It and Bluebirds. With a final score of 10-18 in favour of the Bluebirds, both teams exhibited some brilliant strategies and a positive energy that was infectious to all.

The Purple Panthers and Burntwood 7's gave us an engaging game, the scorecard reading Purple Panthers 3-36 Burntwood 7's. The players’ sportsmanship was commendable, their enthusiasm lighting up the evening.

The match between Spice Goals and A Little Rusty was filled with fun and laughter. With a concluding score of 8-19 for A Little Rusty, the game was played in high spirits, with plenty of camaraderie and support from the sidelines.

Finally, the Nether Belles and Goal Diggers rounded off the evening with an exciting game. The final score of Nether Belles 11 - Goal Diggers 20 was reached amidst lots of cheers, clapping, and friendly banter.

Our Most Valued Player of the week is Stephanie Sumner from Nets Go. Her positive contributions to the team, her agile movement around the court, and her unwavering enthusiasm were much appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
