Play in the Burntwood Sunday you play netball league

It was a delightful evening at the Burntwood Leisure Centre for Week 17 of social netball. Players of all experience levels, from novices to seasoned enthusiasts, joined in the spirit of camaraderie and friendly competition, creating an atmosphere brimming with positivity and sportsmanship.

The first match saw the Bluebirds meet A Little Rusty. The game ended with a score of 22-7 in favour of A Little Rusty, but the Bluebirds put in a spirited display of teamwork and commitment. The friendly energy on the court made it a joy to watch for everyone present.

Burntwood 7's and Spice Goals were next to grace the court. Spice Goals put up a commendable performance and ended the game on a high note with a score of 32-8. Despite the scoreline, Burntwood 7's played with unwavering positivity and determination, which was a testament to their sportsmanship.

The third match was a lively display of netball between the Goal Diggers and the Purple Panthers. It was a nail-biting game that ended with Goal Diggers finishing on 16 while Purple Panthers rallied with 9. Both teams showcased an incredible level of enthusiasm and positive energy, making it a fun game to witness.

Lastly, Nether Belles and Nets Go took to the court. Nets Go concluded the match with a score of 34-5. Nether Belles, though on the back foot, never lost their spirit, continuing to enjoy the game till the last whistle.

A special mention goes to the Most Valued Player of the week, Zoe Barlow from Spice Goals. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court were second to none. Her positive contribution was not just appreciated by her teammates but also noted by her opponents, making her the star of the night.
