Play in the Burntwood Sunday you play netball league

1) Welcoming the cool evening breeze, enthusiastic netball players gathered at Burntwood Leisure Centre for Week 15 of our social netball season. The night was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared passion for the sport. Players of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players, basked in the friendly atmosphere, creating a truly memorable evening of netball.

2) The first match saw the Burntwood 7's engaging in a playful match with A Little Rusty. The teams exhibited fantastic teamwork and commitment, with Burntwood 7's concluding the game at 28 to 9. Next, the Flaming Divas had an energetic game with the Bluebirds. Despite the score of 5-22, the Divas showed great sportsmanship throughout. The following match was a close one between the Goal Diggers and Spice Goals. Sealing the game with a score of 14-9, the Goal Diggers demonstrated a positive energy that was infectious. The Nether Belles and Shoot For It provided a thrilling game, concluding with a close score of 18-14 in favour of the Nether Belles. Lastly, the Nets Go and Purple Panthers played a spirited game that ended with Nets Go leading at 26-13.

3) A special shout out goes to Millie Williams of the Bluebirds, who was recognised as our Most Valued Player of the week. Millie's tireless movement around the court, combined with her infectious enthusiasm and positive contributions, was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.

4) As we look ahead to Week 16, we anticipate another fun-filled evening of social netball. This is more than just a game; it's about staying active, making new friends, and continually developing our netball skills in a supportive and friendly environment. Whether you're a veteran player or just picking up a netball for the first time, we can't wait to see you at Burntwood Leisure Centre for our next meet!
