Play in the Burntwood Sunday you play netball league

On a pleasant evening at Burntwood Leisure Centre, our 13th week of social netball brought all the usual joy and camaraderie. The atmosphere was abuzz with laughter and encouragement, as both seasoned players and beginners relished in the thrill of the game. The spirit of community was palpable, reminding us all why this sport is such a cherished part of our lives.

The first match of the evening saw Goal Diggers meet Burntwood 7's on the court. The game ended with Burntwood 7's leading, at 34 to 12. It was an engaging match, full of positive energy and impressive teamwork. Both teams displayed great sportsmanship and commitment, truly embodying the heart of social netball.

The second match featured Nether Belles and Bluebirds, ending with a score of 21 to 14, in favour of Nether Belles. It was a game played in great spirit, with players showcasing their skills and dedication. The positivity was infectious, making it a thoroughly enjoyable match for both players and spectators.

The player who shone brightest among all was Chantelle Senekal from Purple Panthers. She was recognised as the Most Valued Player of the week, not only for her dynamic movement around the court, but also for her unwavering enthusiasm. Her sportsmanship and positive contributions were not only appreciated by her team, but also admired by her opponents.

As we look forward to Week 14, we are excited to continue our journey of friendly social netball.
