BURNING PASSION AT THE BURNTWOOD SUNDAY NETBALL LEAGUE

As the dust settles on another exhilarating week of the Burntwood Sunday Netball League, the prowess and talent showcased by the teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 has left fans on the edge of their seats.

In the Premier League, Nets Go catapulted to the top with a decisive 27-7 win over Flaming Divas. Meanwhile, Burntwood 7’s secured a comfortable victory over Nether Belles with an impressive 30-11 scoreline. But perhaps the most thrilling match of the week was between All Rounders and Goal Diggers, where All Rounders emerged victorious with a nail-biting finish of 22-13.

In Division 1, Destructive Divas narrowly defeated Bluebirds 10-5, while Spice Goals clinched an 8-12 win over Purple Panthers. However, it was A Little Rusty who stole the show with a hard-fought win over Rogue Angels, finishing 15-10.

While the teams battled it out on the field, the spotlight shone on one player in particular. Rebecca Bodenham of Goal Diggers was named the most valued player for the week, demonstrating exceptional skill and sportsmanship.

The top scorers for each division were the teams that displayed exceptional prowess on the field. In the Premier league, the top scorers were Nets Go and Burntwood 7's while in Division 1 it was A Little Rusty who came out on top as the highest scorer.

With the results of week 3 in, one thing is certain: the Burntwood Sunday Netball League continues to simmer with excitement and we can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store.
