In a thrilling climax to the Burntwood Sunday Netball League, team All Rounders and Spice Goals emerged as winners of the Premier League and Division 1 respectively. The ten-week tournament culminated last night, with some of the most intense matches of the season.

In the Premier League, All Rounders proved their dominance with a resounding 34-6 victory over Nether Belles. This win marked their 8th victory of the season, amassing a total of 17 points to secure the top position. Burntwood 7’s and Flaming Divas also delivered captivating performances, scoring 20 and 23 points respectively in their final matches.

The competition in Division 1 was equally fierce, with Spice Goals claiming the title with seven wins and a total of 15 points. Their final match ended with a thrilling 19-12 win over A Little Rusty. Meanwhile, Purple Panthers, with a decisive 18-7 victory over Destructive Divas, ensured their place in the upper echelons of the division.

The star of the week and arguably the entire season was none other than Nikki Cooper from Purple Panthers. Nikki's exceptional performance throughout the league not only strengthened her team's position but also earned her the title of the Most Valued Player of the season.
