In the thrilling world of Netball, another competitive week has concluded, marking the ninth week of the Burntwood Sunday league. The intensity was at an all-time high, with teams from both Premier League and Division 1 divisions showcasing their skills and strategies.

In the Premier League, Nets Go took the floor by storm defeating Goal Diggers with a decisive 23-5 victory. However, the highlight of the evening was the face-off between Nether Belles and Flaming Divas where Nether Belles triumphed with a close 12-8 win. Burntwood 7's put up a valiant fight against All Rounders, but fell short with a 19-23 final score.

The Division 1 battles were equally tense. Bluebirds emerged victorious over Purple Panthers with a 10-6 win, while Destructive Divas dominated over A Little Rusty, closing the game with a 16-6 score.

The evening was not short of star performances. Olivia Taylor of Nether Belles was named the most valued player of the week. Her exceptional gameplay and unyielding spirit were significant in leading her team to victory.

The top scorers for the week were Nets Go from the Premier League and Destructive Divas from Division 1, adding to the excitement and raising the stakes for the following week.

As we move into the tenth week of the Burntwood Sunday league, one can only anticipate more excitement, more rivalry, and more exceptional netball.
