Play in the Burntwood Sunday you play netball league

Breathtaking action and superlative skills dominated the courts last night at the Burntwood Sunday Netball league. With teams playing their fifth week in the Premier League and Division 1, the levels of competition and camaraderie were at an all-time high.

In the Premier League, Nether Belles and Goal Diggers squared off in a thrilling encounter that ended in a 14-14 deadlock. Both teams showcased an impressive blend of strategy and agility, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. In another equally impressive match, All Rounders managed to hold Nets Go to a 12-12 draw, displaying great defensive skills.

However, the highlight of the division was Burntwood 7's massive victory over Flaming Divas. Despite the Divas' spirited attempts, Burntwood 7's ran away with the match, scoring 27 goals to the Divas' 5.

Division 1 saw even more fierce competition. Spice Goals emerged victorious over Destructive Divas with a seven-goal lead, ending the match at 22-15. Rogue Angels similarly outclassed Purple Panthers, netting a whopping 25 goals to the Panthers' 8.

But the biggest surprise came when A Little Rusty dominated Bluebirds with a score of 17-6. This match served as a testament to the unpredictability and dynamism inherent in the sport.

The star of the night, without a doubt, was Helen Peacock from Flaming Divas. Despite her team's defeat, Peacock demonstrated exceptional skill and tenacity. Her performance earned her the title of 'Most Valued Player' of the week, a testament to her indomitable spirit and athleticism.

While the top scorers from each division are yet to be announced, based on the current match results, Burntwood 7's and Rogue Angels seem to be in strong contention.
