In the heart of the action-packed sport of Netball, the first week of the Burntwood Sunday league kicked off with an adrenaline-filled clash of teams. In the prestigious Premier League and Division 1, teams went head to head, scoring thrilling victories and suffering nail-biting losses.

In the Premier League matches, Nets Go started the season with a bang, scoring an impressive 24-14 victory over Goal Diggers. The clash between Flaming Divas and Nether Belles was a real spectacle, with Nether Belles edging Flaming Divas 16-15 in an electrifying match. All Rounders also came out on top, narrowly defeating Burntwood 7's with a score of 23-21.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Rogue Angels flew past Spice Goals with a solid 28-14 victory. A Little Rusty, despite their name, showcased some polished gameplay, triumphing over Destructive Divas 28-14. The clash between Purple Panthers and Bluebirds ended in a rare draw, with both teams scoring 7 a piece.

The week was not only about the teams but also about the individual performances. Stephanie Lewis from Destructive Divas emerged as the most valued player of the week. Despite their team's loss, Lewis' outstanding performance on the court was a sight to behold, earning her the deserved recognition.
