Week 8 Delivers Another Fantastic Evening of Social Netball in Burntwood

As the sun set over Burntwood Leisure Centre, Week 8 of the Burntwood Sunday You Play Netball League brought together players of all abilities for another enjoyable evening of sport, friendship, and community spirit.

The courts were filled with laughter, encouragement, and friendly competition as teams took to the court to enjoy everything that social netball has to offer. From experienced players to those newer to the game, everyone contributed to a welcoming atmosphere that made the evening a great success.

Match Highlights

The evening began with A Little Rusty facing Bluebirds in a spirited contest. Both teams demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination, and positivity throughout the match, creating an entertaining game that reflected the inclusive nature of the league.

Next up, Shoot For It took on Flaming Divas in another enjoyable fixture. Players from both teams showed great commitment and enthusiasm, supporting one another throughout the game and displaying the sportsmanship that continues to make the league such a positive environment.

The final match of the night saw Purple Panthers and Goal Diggers share the court in a highly competitive encounter. Both teams worked tirelessly for one another, showcasing strong teamwork, communication, and resilience in a game that kept players and spectators engaged from start to finish.
