It was another exciting week of netball in the Burntwood Sunday league, with plenty of energy, teamwork, and great moments across all matches.

Goal Diggers put in a strong performance against A Little Rusty, showing solid defence and teamwork throughout the game. In a closely contested match, Flaming Divas edged past Nether Belles in a tense and hard-fought encounter that kept everyone watching right to the end.

Burntwood 7’s delivered an impressive display against Purple Panthers, while Spice Goals showed great form in their game against Bluebirds, maintaining control and confidence throughout.

This week’s Most Valuable Player goes to Rebecca Rosario-Silcock from Flaming Divas. Her outstanding performance and determination played a key role in her team’s success, making a real impact on court.

With several teams showing great form, the season is shaping up to be an exciting one. Goal Diggers, Flaming Divas, Burntwood 7’s and Spice Goals are all building momentum, but with plenty of netball still to play, anything can happen.

The Burntwood Sunday league continues to bring together fantastic competition, team spirit, and a love of the game. We’re looking forward to seeing what next week brings.
