Play in the Burntwood Sunday You Play Netball League!

It was a brilliant start to the new season in Burntwood, with week 1 bringing plenty of exciting action, great teamwork, and strong performances across the board.

Spice Goals got off to a winning start with a well-earned 13–10 victory over A Little Rusty. It was a closely contested match, with both teams showing great effort and determination throughout. A special shoutout goes to Zoe Barlow from Spice Goals, who was named Player of the Week after an outstanding performance on court.

Bluebirds also made a strong statement, securing a confident 17–7 win against Shoot For It. Their teamwork and smart play helped them take control early and maintain their lead.

Burntwood 7’s delivered the highest-scoring performance of the night, putting in a dominant display to beat Purple Panthers 28–9. They set the pace early and never looked back, making them a team to keep an eye on this season.

Overall, it was a fantastic opening week with lots of positive energy and competitive spirit on display. If this is anything to go by, it’s going to be a really fun and exciting season ahead. We can’t wait to see how it all unfolds next week!
