Play in the Burntwood Sunday You Play Netball League

Week two of the Burntwood Sunday Netball League brought another fantastic evening of fun, competitive netball, with every team showing great effort, teamwork, and determination on court.

The night began with an entertaining match between A Little Rusty and Goal Diggers. Both teams played with plenty of energy and commitment, but Goal Diggers produced a strong performance to take the win. A special mention goes to Natalie Kendall from Goal Diggers, who was named Most Valued Player of the week thanks to her outstanding display and excellent shooting.

Burntwood 7’s and Nets Go then treated spectators to one of the closest games of the evening, with both teams battling hard from start to finish in a match that stayed competitive right until the final whistle. Nether Belles also impressed with a confident team performance against Flaming Divas, showing great movement and communication across the court.

Bluebirds and Purple Panthers played out another exciting contest, with Purple Panthers demonstrating strong defensive play and quick passing to secure a well-earned victory.

Spice Goals were also in fine form during their game against Shoot For It, delivering an excellent all-round performance with sharp attacking play and great teamwork throughout the match.

With just two weeks played, the Burntwood Sunday Netball League is already shaping up to be a brilliant season full of exciting matches, friendly competition, and standout performances. We can’t wait to see what the teams bring to the court next week!
