Play in the Burntwood Sunday You Play Netball League!

Week 11 brought another fantastic evening of netball, with plenty of energy, determination and brilliant team spirit on show across the courts.

Purple Panthers gave it their all in their matchup with Nether Belles, showing great heart and resilience throughout. Nether Belles were sharp in attack and well organised in defence, making for an exciting and competitive game to start the night.

Spice Goals and Goal Diggers then treated everyone to a closely fought contest. Both teams worked tirelessly, producing some lovely passages of play and keeping supporters engaged right until the final whistle. It was a great example of how evenly matched and competitive the league has become.

Bluebirds and Flaming Divas delivered a real highlight of the evening with an end-to-end game full of intensity and passion. The determination from both sides was clear to see, with some excellent teamwork and encouraging support from the sidelines.

Burntwood 7’s also impressed with a confident and composed performance against Shoot For It. Their movement down the court and strong communication made for an entertaining watch and demonstrated the quality on display each week in the league.

A special mention goes to Karen Larkin of Flaming Divas, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her skill, commitment and positive attitude truly stood out, and she embodied the competitive but supportive spirit that makes this league so enjoyable.

As the season continues, the excitement keeps building. Every week brings new standout performances, great sportsmanship and plenty of smiles. We can’t wait to see what next Sunday has in store at the Burntwood Sunday You Play Netball League!
