Burntwood Sunday Netball League: Excitement Unfolds in Week 3

Another fantastic week of netball took place in the Burntwood Sunday Netball League, with plenty of great teamwork, determination, and exciting matches on display across the court.

One of the standout games of the week saw Shoot For It face A Little Rusty. While A Little Rusty came away with the win, Shoot For It showed great spirit throughout the match. A special mention goes to Jade Nicholls from Shoot For It, who was named Player of the Week for her outstanding effort, athleticism, and determination.

In another closely fought game, Purple Panthers secured a hard-earned win over Spice Goals in a strong defensive battle. Both teams worked tirelessly throughout, but Purple Panthers managed to make the most of their opportunities at key moments.

Nets Go delivered an impressive performance against Bluebirds, showing great attacking play and teamwork to secure the victory. Meanwhile, Nether Belles and Burntwood 7’s treated spectators to an entertaining and competitive match, with Burntwood 7’s eventually coming out on top.

The final fixture of the day saw Goal Diggers take on Flaming Divas in another exciting encounter. Both teams played with great energy and commitment, but Goal Diggers managed to edge ahead to take the win.

As the league heads into Week 4, the excitement continues to grow, with every team showing fantastic sportsmanship, skill, and passion for the game. It’s shaping up to be a brilliant season of netball in Burntwood!
