The Brookvale Groby Learning Centre recently hosted Week 9 of the season's social netball evening, stirring an infectious buzz of camaraderie and friendly competition. The welcoming ambiance was palpable as players from a delightful mix of experience levels gathered to partake in an exhilarating night of netball.

The energetic Premier League group took to the court with the All Stars and Lionesses delivering an impressive game. All Stars finished the match with Lionesses holding a narrow win of 8 to 6. Both teams showcased unwavering commitment and sportsmanship, their positive energy radiating throughout each quarter. Despite the score, it was evident that the real victory lay in the enjoyable interactions and warm spirit the game was played in.

In the second round, Kiss My Pass and Fireflies went head-to-head, resulting in a spirited game. The evening saw Kiss My Pass cinch a score of 11-6 against the Fireflies. The match was a beautiful display of teamwork and positive energy. Both teams played with great spirit, the score just a backdrop to an evening of enjoyment and community bonding.

Smack That Pass and Groby Girls engaged in an equally compelling game. Finishing with a score of 16-11 in favor of the Groby Girls, the match was a testament to the importance of teamwork and resilience. The players' enthusiasm and dedication were admirable, and the game was played in high spirits, making it a joy to observe.

A special mention goes out to the Most Valued Player of the week, Leigh Pawley from Fireflies. Leigh's energetic movement around the court and her enthusiastic approach to the game were appreciated by teammates and opponents alike.
