Kidderminster Tuesday Social Netball - week 6

Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League – Week 6

Week 6 of the Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League took place at Baxter College, with three matches played across another evening of social netball. Teams returned to the court ready to compete, with teamwork, communication and determination on display throughout the evening.

The first match saw Goal Diggers face The New Team. Goal Diggers secured a 17-11 victory after a competitive game, showing good movement around the court and making the most of their scoring opportunities. The New Team worked hard throughout, continuing to challenge their opponents and creating chances of their own. Both teams showed commitment across the match, making it a positive start to the evening.

Next, Kiss My Pass took on Shooting Stars. Kiss My Pass came away with a 14-5 win after putting together a strong performance across the court. Their movement and teamwork helped them create scoring opportunities, while Shooting Stars continued to work hard in both attack and defence. The game provided another opportunity for players to develop their skills and build confidence in a friendly, competitive environment.

The final match saw Wingin It meet The Pink Ballers in one of the evening's closer contests. The Pink Ballers secured a 20-15 victory, with both teams working hard to move the ball through the court and convert their chances. Wingin It continued to compete throughout the game, while The Pink Ballers maintained their performance to finish with the win. The match brought Week 6 to a competitive conclusion.

This week's Most Valued Player was Dawn Firmstone from Wingin It. Dawn was recognised for her enthusiasm, movement around the court and positive contribution to the game. Her commitment and attitude were a great example of the teamwork and encouragement that help make social netball enjoyable for everyone involved.

As the season progresses, the Kidderminster Tuesday league continues to give players the opportunity to enjoy regular netball, improve their skills and build confidence on court. Whether returning to the sport after a break or looking to keep active through a weekly game, the league offers a welcoming setting where players can enjoy friendly competition and meet others who share an interest in netball.

With Week 6 complete, attention now turns to Week 7 at Baxter College. We look forward to welcoming the teams back for another evening of netball, with more opportunities to work together, compete and enjoy being part of the league.
