Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 17 of the Kidderminster Tuesday social netball season took place at Baxter College, with teams returning for another evening of netball. Players of different experience levels came together for four matches, with plenty of effort, teamwork and good sportsmanship throughout the evening.

The first match saw Goal Diggers take on Pink Panthers. Goal Diggers finished with a 15-10 win after a competitive game. Both teams worked hard throughout the match, with good teamwork and plenty of effort from everyone on court.

Next up were The New Team and On The Ball. On The Ball came away with a 14-7 win after another enjoyable game. Both teams continued to compete throughout, with plenty of encouragement and good play from both sides.

The third game saw Fire Balls face Shooting Stars. This was the closest result of the evening, with the teams finishing level at 12-12. Both sides put in a strong performance and continued to compete right through to the final whistle, making for a good contest.

The final match saw Kiss My Pass take on Wingin It. Kiss My Pass finished with a 28-4 win after a strong performance. Wingin It continued to work hard throughout the game, while Kiss My Pass made the most of their opportunities.

This week's Most Valued Player was Emmily Aber from Shooting Stars. Emmily showed plenty of energy and movement around the court and made a positive contribution to her team during the evening. Her effort and attitude stood out in the closely contested game against Fire Balls.

With Week 18 coming up, we look forward to another evening of social netball at Baxter College. The league provides a great opportunity to keep active, meet new people and continue developing netball skills while enjoying regular games in a friendly environment.

The focus remains on playing netball in the spirit of Back to Netball, with teamwork, sportsmanship and enjoyment being an important part of every game. We hope all the teams continue to enjoy the season and support each other on and off the court.
