Play in the Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 16 of the Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League at Baxter College saw another busy evening of social netball, with eight teams taking to the court across four fixtures. There was plenty of effort from all the teams, with players working together and making the most of their games.

The first match saw Little Ladies take on Goal Diggers. Goal Diggers finished with 15 goals, while Little Ladies scored 11. It was a competitive game, with both teams creating opportunities and working hard in attack and defence. Goal Diggers were able to maintain their advantage, but Little Ladies continued to push throughout the match.

The second fixture was between Pink Panthers and Kiss My Pass. Kiss My Pass finished with 20 goals to Pink Panthers' 7. Kiss My Pass created plenty of scoring opportunities and converted well throughout the game, while Pink Panthers continued to work hard and compete across the court.

Next up were Wingin It and Fire Balls. Fire Balls finished with 13 goals, while Wingin It scored 2. Fire Balls took their chances well and built a comfortable lead, while Wingin It continued to put in the effort throughout the game and kept working until the final whistle.

The final game of the evening saw Shooting Stars face The New Team. In the closest game of the night, The New Team secured a 10-9 win. With just one goal separating the teams, both sides had to work hard throughout the fixture. The game provided a good example of how a close contest can come down to the final stages, with both teams showing plenty of commitment.

This week's Most Valued Player was Amy Brown from Goal Diggers. Amy put in a strong performance, showing good movement around the court and making a positive contribution to her team's game. Her effort and teamwork were recognised with this week's MVP award. Well done, Amy!

The Kidderminster Tuesday league is a Back to Netball league, providing players with the opportunity to enjoy regular netball in a friendly and welcoming environment. The focus is on staying active, developing skills and enjoying time on court with teammates and other players.

With just two weeks of the current season remaining, there is still plenty of netball to look forward to. Thank you to all the teams for taking part in Week 16 and continuing to make the league a friendly place to play.
