The much-anticipated Kidderminster Tuesday Netball League made a grand return last night, as Week 1 of the new season got underway, signalling a thrilling start to the League.
A showdown between Hoops I Did It Again and A Little Rusty set the pace for the evening. Despite a brave performance, Hoops I Did It Again fell to A Little Rusty in a 4-22 blowout. A Little Rusty proved their mettle on the court, leading the scoreboard for the League, and setting the bar high for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, Shooting Stars managed to outshine Iron Maidens with a convincing 20-7 victory, demonstrating their stellar form early in the season. Their decisive win has placed them as one of the top contenders in the League.
The tension peaked in a fiercely contested match between Little Ladies and Pink Panthers. In a thrilling encounter that had spectators on the edge of their seats, Pink Panthers edged out Little Ladies, snatching a 11-10 victory. The match was a testament to the high competition level in the League.
In the final match of the evening, On The Ball delivered a masterclass performance against Wingin It with a 22-7 win. Their dominance in the game has positioned them strongly amongst the top scorers of the division.
