The new season of Telford Sunday Netball league kicked off with a bang last night, witnessing intense matches in both Premier League and Division 1 categories.

In the Premier League, a captivating contest between Telford Twerkers and Glitterballs saw Glitterballs claiming victory with a 13-7 win. The much-anticipated match-up of Telford Titans and Kiss My Pass ended in a thrilling draw, with both teams scoring 11 points each. Netball Numpties showed excellent form in their victorious match against Pitch Perfect, ending the game at 14-11.

Moving onto Division 1, the match between Wrecking Ballers and Chaos Crew ended in a deadlock, with both teams scoring 7 points each. Displaying exceptional performance, Spice Goals dominated the court beating Hoopdoggz 13-2. Lastly, Hot Shots outpaced Hoops I Did It Again, scoring 10 points to their opponent's 2.

The player of the week was the extraordinary Michelle Head from Spice Goals. Her outstanding performance and strategic play greatly contributed to Spice Goals' significant win.

As the season has just begun, the teams are just warming up for the challenges ahead. In the Premier League, Glitterballs and Netball Numpties share the top spot, while Spice Goals lead the pack in Division 1.

The stage is set for the next week’s games, as the teams now shift their focus towards training and strategy. The action continues next week in the Telford Sunday Netball league, where every match matters and every point counts.
