In the heart of Wolverhampton, on a cool, welcoming Wednesday evening, the twelfth week of social netball at WV Active Aldersley saw a delightful mix of new faces and seasoned players. Friends, families and supporters gathered to enjoy a lively night of netball, with an atmosphere brimming with camaraderie, laughter, and the shared love for the game.

The first match of the night saw the GoalDiggers share the court with the Avengers. The Avengers finished the game with a respectable score of 20-9. The game was marked by terrific teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship from both teams, with all players demonstrating a positively charged energy throughout.

Following this, the Pattingham Diamonds played a spirited game against Dancing With Wolves, ending the night with a score of 11-8. There was a great show of unity and positive energy from both teams, making it a truly enjoyable game to watch.

Next up, the Violet Vixens faced Winging It in an exciting match that ended with Winging It scoring 16-9. The highlight of the evening was the spirit in which the game was played, demonstrating the best of what social netball has to offer.

In the final match of the Division 1 group, the Wednesday Warriors and Wildflowers put up an energetic display with Wildflowers finishing 18-5. The joyous atmosphere created by both teams showed the true essence of social netball.

In the Division 2 group, the first match was between Hoops I Did It Again and Go Net It. The game ended with a score of 18-7. Both teams showed great sportsmanship and commitment, making it a friendly but action-packed game.

The evening's Most Valued Player, Jodie Dodd from Take A Shot, deserves a special mention. Jodie's enthusiasm and movement around the court were impressive, adding energy to the game and igniting the atmosphere. Her positive contribution was appreciated by both teammates and opponents alike.
