In the heart of Wolverhampton, under the cooling veil of evening, the buzzing energy of social netball came to life at the WV Active Aldersley. This close-knit community of dedicated players gathered for Week 11 of the season, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie, inclusivity, and healthy competition. Players, seasoned and new, found joy through the spirit of the game and the warm bonds formed on and off the court.

The Division 1 games kicked off with an engaging duel between Avengers and Wildflowers. The Avengers ended the game with a score of 26-3, a clear testament to their teamwork, commitment, and sportsmanship. Each player brought their A-game, leaving spectators marveling at their positive energy and spirit.

Next, Winging It and Wednesday Warriors showcased an exhilarating face-off. Winging It concluded the match with a score of 23-1, their dedication and positive energy evident in every stride and pass. The game was a delight to watch, reflecting the essence of social netball – enjoyment.

In a rather neck-to-neck affair, Dancing With Wolves and ONYX battled it out, with ONYX inching past to finish the game at 9-8. The game was a true testament to what netball is all about - teamwork, competitive spirit, and having fun.

Lastly, in Division 1, GoalDiggers played against Pattingham Diamonds where the latter emerged with a score of 11-8. The game was filled with positive vibes, infectious energy, and great teamwork.

Moving to Division 2, Go Net It and Take A Shot displayed an uplifting round of netball, concluding at 6-4 in favor of Take A Shot. Wildcats and Shoot For It played an enjoyable game, with Wildcats wrapping up the game with a score of 7-3. Hoop Hustlers and Net Into The Groove showcased a spirited performance with Net Into The Groove wrapping up at 12-4. Finally, Hoops I Did It Again and Net Setters engaged in a friendly duel, with the former finishing at 6-4.

This week's special mention goes to the Most Valued Player, Danielle Hunt from Hoop Hustlers. Danielle's enthusiasm and tireless movement around the court were deeply appreciated by her teammates and opponents alike. Her positive contribution undeniably enhanced the spirit of the game.
