The Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League, delivered an exhilarating round of matchups in its ninth week. Two divisions battled it out fiercely on the court: Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, the tension was palpable as the Dancing With Wolves and Winging It face-off ended in a scoreless deadlock. While the result didn't favour either team, the level of competition showcased was at its peak, with both teams showing exceptional defensive skills.

The Avengers emerged victorious with a daunting 15 - 4 win over Rebounders. Their attacking game was impressive, but it was not enough to overshadow the brilliance of Yvette Ashmore from Rebounders. Despite her team's heavy loss, Ashmore stood out with her agility, precision, and crucial interceptions, earning her the title of the week's most valued player.

Violet Vixens held their nerve in a closely contested match against Wildflowers, narrowly securing a 12 - 9 victory. Meanwhile, Wanderlust couldn't quite keep up with the Wednesday Warriors, who claimed a solid 14 - 8 win.

In Division 1, the Wildcats were overpowered by Hoop For The Best, who cruised to a convincing 16 - 5 victory.

In the Premier League, the highest-scoring team honour went to the Avengers, while in Division 1, Hoop For The Best grabbed the spotlight with their dominant performance.

The nine-week-old league is turning out to be a thrilling tournament, with top-notch performances from players like Yvette Ashmore setting the bar high.
