Play in the Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

Last night marked the thirteenth week of the exciting Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League. The matches took place with high spirits and relentless team play, witnessing some formidable competition in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Dancing With Wolves took on Wildflowers, clinching a hard-fought victory with a 10-7 win. Meanwhile, Avengers showcased some exceptional play against Wednesday Warriors, outshining them with a robust 23-7 score. The contest between Winging It and Wanderlust ended with Wanderlust reigning supreme with a 9-3 win. Finally, in a nail-biting finish, Rebounders edged out the Violet Vixens with a 13-7 victory.

As the night progressed, the action moved to Division 1 where Nets Go Girls squared off against Hoop For The Best. Despite a spirited performance, Nets Go Girls fell short as Hoop For The Best triumphed with a 16-10 win. In another match, Shoot Happens dominated the court against Wildcats, cruising to an easy 18-1 win.

The highlight of the week, however, was the spectacular performance by Jessica Woodhouse of the Wednesday Warriors. Despite their team's loss, Woodhouse's performance was a ray of hope, making her the most valued player of the week.

As the league enters its next week, the top scorers for each division - Avengers in the League and Shoot Happens in Division 1 - continue to set the bar high. Their exceptional performances are a testament to the thrilling competition that the Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League has come to be known for.
