In Division 1, Avengers put on a sterling performance, outplaying Rebounders with a decisive 16-7 victory. However, the match of the week was between Dancing With Wolves and Violet Vixens, where despite a strong fight from the former, the Vixens comfortably secured a 13-6 win. In the final match of the division, Wanderlust proved too strong for Winging It, winning by a five-point margin, 13-8.

Whilst in Division 2, the action heated up with Nets Go Girls besting Chaos With A Smile in a 9-3 showdown. Wednesday Warriors continued their impressive form against Flaming Divas with an 11-3 victory. But, the highlight of Division 2 was the performance of Wildflowers who finished with a score of 25-1, marking the highest score in both divisions for the week.

Despite the Wildcats' tough week, Misba shone as the most valued player. Her fierce gameplay and commendable sportsmanship were a beacon of hope for the Wildcats, proving that individual brilliance can shine, even in defeat.

At the end of week 2, the top scorers from each division are the Avengers from Division 1 and the Wildflowers from Division 2. Both teams showed exceptional skill and strategy to outperform their opponents, signaling an exciting season ahead.

As we move into week 3, all eyes will be on whether these teams can maintain their momentum and who will rise to challenge their dominance in the Wolverhampton Wednesday Netball League.
