Division 1 Highlights
Avengers put in a strong performance to come out on top against Wednesday Warriors. Wildflowers impressed with some smart, tactical play to secure their win over Take A Shot. The clash between Winging It and Violet Vixens had everyone holding their breath, with Winging It just edging it in a super close contest. Codsall Spices and Shoot Happens rounded off the division’s matches, with Shoot Happens finishing the night on a high.
Division 2 Highlights
There was just as much excitement in Division 2! Rebounders delivered a standout performance in their match against Shoot For It 2.0. Wildcats and Go Net It treated spectators to a tightly fought battle, with Go Net It narrowly taking the win. Nets Get Started showed great teamwork to secure victory over Net Setters, while GoalDiggers put in a confident display against Hoop For The Best. The final game of the evening saw Hoops I Did It Again celebrate a well-earned win over Hoop Hustlers.
A special shoutout goes to Kimberley Niles from the Wildcats, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Even in a closely contested match, her effort, skill and determination truly stood out.
Top scoring honours this week went to Avengers in Division 1 and Rebounders in Division 2 – fantastic work from both teams!
With Week 12 complete, excitement is already building for Week 13. We can’t wait to see everyone back on court for another great evening of netball!
